Regarding exhibitor fees: There is a $50 booth set-up fee that will be required and could possibly come from the committee budget for committee sponsored space. Normal exhibit cost is ~$500.
Schedule:
Sunday - 2 Sessions on Powerpoint - Beginner followed by Intermediate/Advanced. Include in RFP. Possiblities - members of the committee, Susan Kerr, Betsy Greene
Tuesday morning workshops - Videoconferencing pending proposals; encourage practical applications here
Tuesday afternoon - hands-on in the exhibit area - Technology showcase - focus on pda's, blackberry, cell phones, smart phones, iPhones - also include in the RFP
Thursday - Karen check with Beth Raney to see if she is willing and her time requirement. Need to begin after 1:30.
Karen needs to send schedule to Scott by March at latest so we can be sure to be included in the registration information. Greg is looking out for us on the room requests but we also need to look for this.
Committee needs to review videoconferencing notes and make recommendations
Karen needs to prepare draft RFP for their review. Once finalized, each regional chair will send to state chairs to promote within their state.
Next meeting - March 26 - 3:30 EST. Karen needs to set up Adobe Connect room and reserve phone line.
